Zadro Winery was founded in 1996. It is located in Herzegovina, in the south of the country, near the town of Čapljina. The Zadro winery is in possession of 40 hectars of vineyards (30 owned, 10 cooperated). They produce 250000 – 300000 liters of wine annually.
It is the first producer from Bosnia and Herzegovina to make sparkling wine out of wine sort Žilavka. The recognition of constant investment in quality came in the form of platinum medals from the prestigious London Decanter World Wine Awards.
