Paštaria was founded in Rijeka, as a combination of hundred years old tradition and modern technology, and is today the longest-living brand of PIK Rijeka. It is exclusively made of durum groats, which contains up to 50% more proteins than plain wheat, does not contain cholesterol, is always „al dente“ and never overcooks.
Paštaria factory started with its work in 1845. That was the time when first Croatian manufacturing facilities for production of pasta modeled after the Italian manufactories were set up. Today, pasta is produced in a modern facility with continuous and automated technologic process.
Company PIK Plc. Rijeka boasts a long tradition since 1947. It has its own retail network of approximately 25 stores throughout the county. It employs over 300 employees.
